
Visa
A Visa of the Republic of Indonesia may be issued in the form of an official stamp, a sheet of paper inserted into or attached to a passport, an ordinary card, or an electronic card.
The type of visa issued shall be based on the visa application.
A Diplomatic Visa or a Service Visa shall only be issued to the bearer of a Diplomatic Passport or a Service Passport. Applications for Diplomatic or Service Visas should be accompanied by note verbals or official letters.
Visa applicants are advised to fill in the online visa application at www.embassyofindonesia.eu and have it printed. The printed visa application has to be submitted to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia at 294 Avenue de Tervuren 1150, Saint Pierre, Brussels for further processing.
Visas shall be used within 90 (ninety) days, calculated from the date of issuance. Any foreign national who fail to use a visa within this designated period of time must submit a re-application for a new visa.

Social Cultural purposes

5. A copy of invitation letter from Indonesian nationals or institution
Business purposes

DIPLOMATIC / SERVICE VISA
Diplomatic or Service Visas are given to foreign citizens bearing diplomatic passports / service passports / official passports/EU Laisse passez /UN Laizze Passe for the conduct of diplomatic or official assignments in Indonesia.
Requests for Diplomatic / Service Visas must be submitted to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Brussels by filling out the online application forms and enclosing:
- An valid Identity Card of the passport bearer.
- 1 (one) 4×6 cm color passport photographs of the passport bearer.
3. The original diplomatic passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of submission.
4. A diplomatic note / note verbale confirming the travel of the said persons.
TRANSIT VISA
A Transit Visa is issued to a foreign national, in possession of a valid passport or other legal travel document for at least 6 ( six) months, who is :
- transit on the territory of the Republic of Indonesia intending to continue the journey to another country.
- a captain and crew members intending to sign on vessel / aircraft which is operating in Indonesia
The validity of a Transit Visa is 90 days from its date of issue, with a staying period up to 14 (fourteen) days from date of arrival. Requests for a Transit Visa must be submitted by filling out the online registration forms and enclosing :
- 1 (one) 4x6cm color passport photographs of the passport bearer.
- Copy of ticket reservation (itinerary)
- The original passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of submission.
(Persons stopping over in Indonesia to continue their journey to another country or their country of origin, must be able to produce proof of a ticket to that country)

- The maximum period permitted to stay is 30 ( thirty ) days.
- This Visa neither be extended and nor be converted into other status of immigration permit.
- This Visa is valid for tourism, social culture visit, business visit and government duties.
- In case of natural disaster, accident or illness, this permit can be extended
by approval of the Minister of Justice and Human Rights.
- The Regulation of the Minister of Justice and Human Rights No. M.02.IZ.01.10 / 2007 regulates the Visa On Arrival (VOA) facilities for the following countries as of 28 May 2007.

- The VOA facilities permit a minimum period of stay of 7 (seven) days and a maximum period of stay of 30 (thirty) days.
- The VOA cannot be extended or be converted into another immigration permit status.
- The VOA is valid only for visits of tourism, social culture and business natures as well as for government assignments. Employment is not permitted.
- In case of natural disaster, accident or illness , the VOA can be extended upon approval by he Director General of Immigration / Department of Jutice and Human Rights.
